The basic principle of various electrostatic generators is the same: The energy is provided by a stable DC power supply (composed of step-down circuit, rectification and filtering circuit, voltage regulator circuit), which is converted into a frequency of 5kHz~20kHz through self-excited oscillation (generated by oscillation coil or integrated circuit), and boosted to 6kV~10kV alternating transformation, and then through multistage (generally 10 levels, or 12 levels) voltage doubling rectification. High voltage DC source of 60kV~100kV - high voltage static electricity can be obtained. High voltage electrostatic generator is mainly used in electrostatic spray, electrostatic powder spraying machine, electrostatic precipitator and other electrostatic equipment. The working principle of electrostatic precipitator is to use the high specific resistance as the index to evaluate the conductivity, which has a direct impact on the efficiency of dust removal. The specific resistance is too low, it is difficult for the dust particles to remain on the dust collecting electrode, resulting in their return to the flow. The specific resistance of electrostatic precipitator is too high, the charge of dust particles reaching the dust collecting electrode is not easy to release, the piezoelectric field in the dust layer ionizes the flue gas, and the dust charge in the air flow is separated from the air flow under the action of the electric field. The negative electrode of electrostatic precipitator is made of metal wire with different section shapes, which is called discharge electrode. The positive electrode is made of metal plates of different geometric shapes and is called the dust collecting electrode. The performance of electrostatic precipitator is affected by three factors: dust property, equipment structure and flue gas velocity. The voltage gradient between electrostatic precipitator dust will produce local breakdown and discharge phenomenon. These conditions will cause the efficiency of dust removal to decrease.
